Best drugstore foundations and concealers

I have always loved drugstore makeup, but I used to be of the opinion that if there is somewhere you want to splurge it should be on your skincare and base makeup. If you have a beautiful base almost all products you put on top looks great no matter if they are drugstore or high end. But lately, I feel The Drugstores have been stepping it up when it comes to its base products. With some of the concealers or foundations available now, I don’t see even the slightest bit of a difference from a more expensive product. So today I wanted to share some of my latest favorites.

Foundations:

The best drugstore foundations

Wet’n Wild Photofocus Foundation (nude ivory)

My newest addition to the bunch, and even though it’s so new in my collection it’s already a favorite. It glides on beautifully and gives a healthy glow. It doesn’t stay matte all day on my skin type but with a little powder touch ups during the day it’s all alright. Would probably work great on dryer skin. Keep in mind that if you are sensitive to scent this might not be for you since it smells quite funny.

Revlon Colorstay – For Combination/Oily skin (110 Ivory)

This is one of my oldest foundations that I still use on a regular basis. I really enjoy it, it lasts a good while on my skin and looks beautiful. It’s actually really pale and a great color match for me in the winter. I feel like it works well for me even when I’m feeling dry, but they do have another version of the foundation for normal/dry skin.

Rimmel Lasting Finish (100 Ivory)

Beautiful coverage! This is a foundation that I often tend to use if I’m doing someone else’s makeup because I feel like it works on many different skin types. Lasts a good while too, but I don’t know about the 25 hours that it claims to last. This is actually the darkest one of these foundations so keep that in mind if you are looking for a really pale foundation.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless (110)

One of my favorites for the warmer months. Keeps me pretty matte and does help a little bit with your pores. My favorite part about it is that it feels super light on the skin. This is my second or third bottle already, a true staple in my makeup collection.

Concealers:

The best drugstore concealers

Wet’n Wild Photofocus Concealer (Light Ivory)

This is also my newest addition to my concealers but also one of my favorites. I’m actually super impressed by the Wet’n wild photofocus line! This looks beautiful under my eyes and I feel like it has a great coverage. Super for the prize.

Catrice Liquid Camouflage (010 Porcelain)

One of my absolute favorites! The concealer glides on and blends in like a dream. It has d21ecent coverage and lasts well on my skin. An absolute winner in my book. This really makes me want to try out some other products from Catrice as well.

Essence Get Picture Ready (10 Ivory)

Not my favorite packaging, I like a normal wand better but aside from that, I think it brightens your undereye area beautifully and blends in nicely.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (10)

Also a safe bet, this concealer feels very light and blends on top of other foundations beautifully. If I have a blemish or something I want to cover on my skin this is my go to. Some concealers tend to move things around when you try to blend it out on top of foundation but not this one. (This color is too dark for my under eyes, I should probably have the color 15)

I hope this helps some of you out in the drugstore jungle and that you maybe try out a new affordable product. I myself have my eyes on the NYX Total Control Drop Foundation and the Catrice HD Coverage Foundation. If you have any other recommendations I haven’t mentioned that you think people should know about leave it in the comments below!
