Benefits of Multi Masking and a Tonymoly Painting Therapy Pack review

One thing I really enjoy is masks. They canΒ be in any shape or form, I just love me a good mask. It’s such an easy way to pamper yourself, relax and have some “me” time. So imagine my excitement when I heard of multi masking, multiple masks at the same time? First of all, why hadn’t I thought of it myself? And second, yes, please sign me up! In this blog post, I’m going to go through if there are any benefits to multi masking and give you a review of the Tonymoly Painting Therapy Packs.

What is Multi Masking?

First of all, what is multi masking? Multi masking is where you choose a different mask for different parts of your face. This isn’t really anything new, dermatologists have been doing it for ages. More and more brands are also coming out with masks for specific skin problems or skin types and therefore work perfectly for multi masking.

Who is Multi Masking suitable for?

Multi masking is really great for people with combo skin, but really for all skin types. Our skin acts differently in different parts of the face. Most people produce more oil in the T-zone of the face and have dryer cheeks. This is why multi masking is so great, and why there are so many benefits to it. Now you can customize your masking experience to the max and get the most out of your masking time. You can even have different types of masks on at once: Clay masks which work on purifying the t-zone and gel masks on the rest of the face for that added hydration. The sky is the limit really πŸ˜‰

Tonymoly Painting Therapy Pack

Personally, I have these three masks from Tonymoly called Painting Therapy Packs. It kind of feels like I’m painting when I’m putting them on. I chose the colors blue, which works on hydrating and calming your skin – yellow, which moisturizes the skin – and black, for sebum control. They have five colors in the collection. I’m missing the white, for brightening – and pink, SOS care. Not only can you choose different colors for different parts of your face but you can also mix the colors together to get an even more customized experience.

I usually apply the blue one on my forehead, which needs a lot of hydration but without being heavy. The yellow mask I apply all over my cheek to give me moisture. Lastly, I apply the black mask on and around my nose as well as a little bit on my chin. But generally, you can focus on the more hydrating masks on the sides of your face and then a more clearing mask for the center of the face. I leave them on for about 10-15 minute and wash it off! If you are using masks with different time recommendations, put on the ones that are supposed to be on the longest first.

I personally love multi masking and I think it’s a great way to treat different parts of my face with exactly what it needs. I think these masks are really fun to play around with, and I can just imagine how fun I would have had with these masks at a sleepover as a teenager.

My final thoughts

I think these masks from Tonymoly are a great find. They last a long while and are really affordable. They cost 3.98 US dollar on with free shipping worldwide. Haha definitely not sponsored, I just buy a lot from Jolse. You can read more about the products here:Β

My favorite is the blue mask! It smells so good and leaves my skin feeling nice and hydrated. The black mask would be really good for someone with a really oily T-zone, since it really does work on controlling sebum. It even tingles a little while it’s on. My least favorite must be the yellow mask, mostly because it dries down really fast and gets really tight on my face. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling moisturized. I do also think all of the masks are a little bit hard to wash off. It can get really messy sometimes. But I still would like to try the white and the pink one. Might have to pick them up. πŸ˜‰

Do you guys have a favorite face mask? Have you tried multi masking? πŸ™‚

    1. Soo true! I couldn’t agree more πŸ˜€ I can’t imagine putting a purifying clay mask on my dry cheeks and forehead but the center of my face do need it sometimes, and what better than to slap a moisturizing one on the rest of my face at the same time!
